Job Opportunity: Ag Merchandise Sales & Administration Support

An immediate opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Ag Merchandise Sales & Administration Support role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

Total Rural Supplies, a respected and rapidly growing privately owned rural merchandise business, is looking for a full-time Counter Salesperson with some administrative duties to join our team. The position will involve delivering exceptional customer service, along with administrative and stock management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and committed to achieving high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide counter sales and address customer needs.
  • Load and unload products.
  • Ensure OH&S compliance and reporting.
  • Order products and manage inventory.
  • Perform general administrative tasks.
  • Handle phone inquiries.

Key Personal Attributes:

We are looking for individuals with a strong passion and commitment to achieving positive outcomes. The successful applicant must possess excellent communication skills, with a friendly and courteous manner. Adaptability, energy, physical fitness, and a dedicated approach to work are essential. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to processes are crucial. Experience in the agricultural industry will be highly regarded.

Experience:

Some experience in administration and/or sales is advantageous. A positive, "can-do" attitude is a must. Experience in rural or farming enterprises will be viewed favorably. A forklift license is required; candidates without one will need to obtain it, this can be done after commencement .
