A job with purpose Plastic Forests is an award-winning Australian family business which manufactures recycled plastic products, keeping plastic out of landfill and the environment.

We are looking for an experienced extruder / machine operator with a 'can-do' attitude to join our friendly team at North Albury. The role is 5 days/38 hours per week on a day or afternoon (with penalty rates).

ABOUT THE ROLE

This exciting role will see you:

  • Operating an extruder and various production lines to make recycled plastic products
  • Granulating plastic
  • Using power tools and machinery
  • Packing finished products
  • General factory duties & cleaning
  • Quality control

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To succeed in this role will have:

  • Recent experience in an industrial setting (plastic recycling, extrusion or injection moulding, production, manufacturing, or trade roles)
  • Forklift licence (preferred)
  • Physical fitness and strength
  • Ability to undertake shift work
  • Reliable attendance, initiative, problem solving and attention to detail
