Plant Operator – Power & Electrical Team

Are you an experienced Plant Operator looking for a role where your skills keep essential services running? Join a dedicated team of Electricians and Linesmen and play a vital part in maintaining and upgrading our electrical network.

About the Role:

Support the field team by safely and efficiently operating a range of plant and equipment to assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of powerlines and related infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery and equipment including EWPs, cranes, and earthmoving plant
  • Support electricians and linesmen with site preparation and network works
  • Carry out routine checks and maintenance on plant and equipment
  • Ensure safe work practices are followed at all times
  • Work collaboratively with the crew to deliver projects on time and to a high standard

What We're Looking For:

  • Current Plant Operator / High Risk Work licences (e.g. EWP, dogging, crane, forklift)
  • HC truck licence
  • Experience in civil, utilities, or electrical industries preferred
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety
  • Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing site conditions
