HMT Pty Ltd, trading as Miracle Supermarket is a renowned Asian grocery supermarket operating in Sydney, Australia delivering authentic Asian food products and cooking needs. Since opening its first store in Chatswood in 1996, Miracle Supermarket has been a favourite choice of Sydney residents, where we are known for providing quality Asian products, sourced from across Asia including Japan, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Korea and Thailand.

We are currently looking for an experienced 'Office Manager' who possesses the necessary qualifications, skills, languages and experience to manage our office administration.

About the Role

Duties and Responsibilities of this position include:

· Oversee the day-to-day administrative and back-office operations to ensure smooth support for supermarket retail activities.

· Manage store and office budgets, track expenses, and coordinate with the finance team for payroll processing, supplier payments, and invoicing.

· Maintain accurate employee records, assist with recruitment of retail staff, and coordinate onboarding and training for new team members.

· Act as a communication link between store management, warehouse, suppliers, and external service providers to ensure timely operations.

· Organize company files, supplier contracts, stock documentation, and ensure compliance with data security and confidentiality requirements.

· Supervise administrative and support staff, providing guidance and training to enhance workplace efficiency.

· Manage rosters, scheduling, travel arrangements, and internal communications for senior management.

· Monitor inventory of office and store supplies, liaising with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment and stock availability.

· Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards within both office and retail environments.

· Support business reporting requirements and assist in preparing documentation, sales reports, and presentations for management review.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher;
  • Minimum one year experience working within a similar role;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication skills;
