Customer Engagement Manager | Luxury Beauty/Fragrance

Location: Sydney CBD with 2 days WFH

Salary: $140k - $150k + super

12-month contract - ASAP start date

A fantastic opportunity for a Customer Engagement Manager to join a global luxury beauty organisation on a 12-month contract. This opportunity blends strategy, creativity, and performance; leading media, CRM, and communications initiatives that drive brand equity, advocacy, and measurable ROI.

Your new role

You'll lead integrated campaigns across paid, earned, owned, and shared channels and shape how the brand connects with customers across media, content, and CRM.

Media Strategy & Execution

  • Build and execute integrated media plans across digital, traditional, and retail.
  • Manage agency relationships to localise global strategies and drive performance.
  • Report to global teams on budget allocation and best practice.
  • Lead cross-agency strategy sessions and data science initiatives.

PR & Influencer Engagement

  • Drive PR and influencer campaigns across ANZ.
  • Manage press office activity, launches, and events.
  • Build influencer partnerships and integrate earned media into brand plans.
  • Amplify reach using user-generated content.

CRM & Consumer Insights

  • Own CRM strategy across retail partners to drive retention and recruitment.
  • Manage CRM calendar and campaign testing.
  • Use insights to guide decisions and influence stakeholders.
  • Lead research and performance tracking across shopper data, media mix, and competitors.

Content & Trade Integration

  • Define content strategies aligned with insights and platform best practices.
  • Partner with brand teams to optimise storytelling across ATL, social, influencer, and retail.
  • Collaborate with Trade Marketing to activate key calendar moments.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 7–10 years in customer engagement, media, or brand marketing.
  • Experience in luxury, beauty, or consumer lifestyle industries.
  • Degree in Marketing, Media, or Communications (Master's preferred).
  • Proven digital-first, consumer-led marketing expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of influencer ecosystems and media networks.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to turn insights into action.
  • Skilled communicator with stakeholder influence across all levels.
  • Organised, trend-aware, and hands-on.
  • Strategic and operational agility.
