We're looking for a dynamic and proactive Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) or Registered Nurse to work in the After-Hours Clinical Nurse Educator role within a dynamic, collaborative multi-disciplinary team to support staff development and promote excellence in patient care. This is a rewarding opportunity to influence learning and practice at both the individual and service level.

Where you'll be working
After Hours Clinical Nurse Educator, Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital, NSLHD.
What you'll be doing: The after-hours Clinical Nurse Educator will be guided by the after-hours Nurse Manager in providing clinical teaching, skill accreditation and professional development support for all nursing and midwifery staff and students within Hornsby Ku-ring-gai hospital. You will ensure staff across the service are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Holds AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse AND holds relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated computer literacy.
- Demonstrated ability to practice safe nursing care and knowledge of policies and clinical practice guidelines.
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence based practice, continuous quality improvement and risk management.
