About the role

We are seeking a friendly and hardworking Canteen Assistant to join our team at Logical Property Services' in Geelong, VIC. This is a part-time role, Thursday & Fridays only, 12 hours per week. Canteen is located at Primary School in Geelong. As a Canteen Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing catering and food service support.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold food items, such as sandwiches, salads, and snacks
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene in the canteen
  • Assisting with the restocking and organisation of the canteen supplies
  • Providing excellent customer service to staff and students
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service or food service role, preferably in a canteen or catering environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team
  • Must have or be willing to obtain Food Handlers Certificate and Working with Children's Check.
