What you'll be doing
The Clinical Nurse / Midwife Consultant (CNC/CMC) will provide expert clinical care and education to children and their families within a defined specialty.
The role provides a consultancy and educational focus for ward based nurses in the care of children and their families.
In collaboration and consultation with key stakeholders, the CNC/CMC will undertake primary responsibility for on-going education, development and evaluation of clinical practice.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has current AHPRA and a minimum of 5 years full time post qualification experience, with at least three years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field.
- Demonstrates skills in strategic and clinical service planning and includes an understanding of organisational behaviour, change management and cultural changes processes
