What you'll be doing

  • Occupational Assessment, screening and vaccination against specified preventable diseases in accordance with NSW Health Policy Directive PD 2018_009
  • The role is an autonomous position in regard to the effective day-to day co-ordination of compliance with the vaccination and health screening requirements of NSW Health Policy 2018_009 and the Australian Immunisation Handbook.
  • Blood and Body Fluid post exposure management and counselling effected staff – as required

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Current Nursing registration AHPRA and certification as an authorised Nurse Immuniser in NSW as per Ministry of Health and Nurses Registration Board Requirements.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of management of exposures to blood borne pathogens
  • Relevant experience in similar role with a minimum of 3 years
