Catering HQ is looking for a Distribution Driver to join our talented and dedicated team. This opportunity is for an experienced and enthusiastic Driver to join our team full time.

Catering HQ is a family run company that was established in 1996. We currently have 13 fabulous venues across Sydney. At Catering HQ we are always looking to adapt to evolving market trends for our restaurants, cafés and events. This allows our menus and décor to be fresh, interesting and inviting to our guests. We are known for delivering high quality meals and exceptional customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Load daily orders on truck for dispatch
  • Safely drive and deliver to our venues across Sydney
  • Assisting with inventory counts/stocktaking
  • Ensuring general operational tidiness your vehicle
  • Ensuring vehicle load is secure and safe to transport
  • Documentation and record keeping
  • Other warehouse duties as required

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Operating a forklift to unload and load goods - forklift license required
  • Valid Drivers Licence is required
  • Manual handling and stacking of products
  • Previous Warehouse experience is highly regarded
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions closely
  • Be highly focused on safety, quality & hygiene compliance
  • Effective communication skills
  • Trouble shooting skills and ability to use initiative
  • Ability to work unsupervised as required
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Weekend and Public Holiday work may be required
