About the role

We have an exciting casual opportunity for a Storeperson, Forklift Operator and Delivery Driver to join our team at Five Senses Education in Seven Hills, NSW.

We are a medium sized business with retail, wholesale distribution, printing and bulk school supplies happening from our Seven Hills head office.

In this diverse role, you will play a key part in supporting our warehousing and distribution operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate forklift and other materials handling equipment to move, load, unload and stock inventory
  • Receive, check and put away incoming stock deliveries
  • Pick, pack and dispatch orders to customers
  • Make regular deliveries to our North Rocks store and Tuggerah warehouse and customer deliveries including to schools within the metropolitan area
  • Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and well-organised
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as required

What we're looking for

  • Forklift licence and prior experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical fitness, the ability to work on your feet for extended periods and to lift medium to heavy items
  • A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Driver's licence and experienced driver able to make deliveries to customers around Sydney
  • Medium ridge truck licence highly desirable
