About the Opportunity

Join our team in Henderson, WA, supporting the Nuclear-powered Submarine sustainment program (SSNS), a critical part of Australia's future defence capability. In this role, you will provide accurate and timely Earned Value Management (EVM) insights in accordance with the In-Service Support Contract, Australian Standard AS /2019, and the Defence Supplement. You will be the central point of contact for all EVM and project cost and schedule-related queries, reporting to the Project Controls Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain cost information in line with AS /2019 and the Defence Supplement.
  • Source and integrate data such as budgets, actual costs, progress, and forecasts from business systems including the corporate scheduling tool, project ledger, and ERP, into ASC's EVM tool.
  • Support continuous cost efficiency improvements aligned with Coles Beyond Benchmark Cost Efficiency targets.
  • Build a strong understanding of ASC's business systems and data flows across ERP, Contract Management, Procurement, Estimating, Scheduling, and Project Accounting and Finance to support value-for-money outcomes.

About you

  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Commerce/Economics, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in the discipline of Earned Value Management (EVM) within a Project Controls team or project management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Quick learner with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
