About the role
What you'll be doing
  • Prepare and present hot and cold dishes using various cooking methods and kitchen equipment.
  • Follow portion sizes, recipes, cooking methods, and quality standards consistently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the work area, including general kitchen cleaning duties.
  • Ensure stock control, labelling, handling, and rotation procedures are followed for food safety.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver food for patients within required time frames and at a high standard.
  • Adhere to health, hygiene, and safety guidelines and report any issues promptly.
  • Complete all training requirements and participate in meetings and performance appraisals
About you
  • Certificate III in Cookery
  • Demonstrated experience in bulk food preparation including vegetable and dessert cooking.
  • Ability to read, follow and understand recipes, recipes methods and product being utilised for production.
  • Demonstrated experience with cook/chill processes.
