As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Wedding Planner & Stylist to join our Melbourne-based team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both creative and operational environments and is committed to delivering exceptional client experiences.
Role OverviewClient Engagement & Creative Development
- Liaise with clients via phone, email, meetings, and venue viewings to understand their vision and preferences.
- Develop tailored styling proposals and mood boards that align with client briefs and our brand values.
- Assist clients with the selection of hire items and creative elements, including the design of custom stationery.
Planning & Event Coordination
- Coordinate all aspects of the planning process, including vendor sourcing and management, timeline development, logistics, and communications.
- Manage digital workflows and ensure all planning milestones are met efficiently and professionally.
On-Site Event Responsibilities
- Oversee all on-site event operations, including bump-in, styling, vendor coordination, and event execution.
- Ensure all elements are delivered and installed according to plan and timeline.
- Act as the main point of contact on the day, directing vendors and resolving any issues calmly and efficiently.
- Manage pack-down processes and post-event completion tasks, including inventory return and reporting.
Styling & Industry Collaboration
- Work closely with our hire and styling teams to deliver high-quality, brand-aligned experiences.
- Maintain strong relationships with industry professionals, venues, and suppliers.
- Keep up to date with wedding and event trends to contribute fresh ideas to client work and internal creative direction.
Candidate Requirements Essential
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in wedding planning or styling.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in liaising with clients, vendors, and team members.
- A creative mindset with a strong eye for detail and design.
- Ability to interpret and execute client briefs with professionalism and innovation.
- Competence in managing digital planning tools and administrative workflows.
- Availability to work weekends and evenings as required.
- Valid driver's license
Preferred
- Experience designing custom stationery and signage.
- Familiarity with Melbourne's premium wedding venues and suppliers.
- Creative design and out of the box thinking
