Position Overview:

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a critical role in assembling precision-engineered components that meet stringent quality standards. You will work with sophisticated mechanical systems, using a combination of hand tools, machinery, and technical blueprints. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled, meticulous, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembly of Precision Components: Assemble mechanical parts and systems according to technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of assembled components, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and performance requirements.

Tool and Equipment Usage: Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery for assembly tasks.

Troubleshooting & Adjustments: Identify and resolve assembly issues, making necessary adjustments to ensure proper fit and function.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, including any issues or adjustments made.

Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and other team members to improve assembly processes and product quality.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Mechanical Assembler of precision engineered products would be preferable. However, applications from candidates with a mechanical trade background, industrial fitters etc will also be given serious consideration, as training can be provided.
  • You can build an assembly by reading and interpreting technical drawings before identifying the correct componentry and assembling the finished product.
  • You have hands-on experience with a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
  • You are detail-oriented and a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • You can troubleshoot mechanical issues and make adjustments as needed.
  • You are a strong communicator and can work well in a team-oriented environment.
