This is an exciting opportunity to nurture faith, character, and service in young people while teaching the Encounter Curriculum within a vibrant, supportive Christian school community.

About the Role

  • Deliver the Encounter Curriculum in engaging and relevant ways across secondary year levels.
  • Lead students in exploring faith, values, and the teachings of Jesus Christ.
  • Integrate spiritual development through class worships, Bible study, and service learning.
  • Work collaboratively with pastoral care and teaching teams to strengthen the school's spiritual culture.
  • Actively contribute to the mission and worship life of the College.

Requirements

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Education.
  • Eligibility for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
  • Must be a baptised and practising member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate faith authentically and build positive student relationships.

Application Details

Salary Range: $88,000 – $122,000 (depending on experience, excluding superannuation).

Applicants must have a legal right to work in Australia and hold a valid Working With Children Check.
