We are seeking a passionate and inspiring English Teacher (Years 7–12) to join our dedicated secondary teaching team in 2026.

About the Role

  • Deliver engaging lessons across English and Literature aligned with the Australian Curriculum and QCAA requirements.
  • Inspire students to communicate effectively and appreciate the power of language and storytelling.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment grounded in Christian values.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen curriculum design and assessment practices.
  • Contribute actively to the spiritual and community life of the College.

Requirements

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Education.
  • Registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
  • A commitment to the Seventh-day Adventist Christian ethos and integration of faith and learning.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with a heart for student growth.

Application Details

Salary Range: $88,000 – $122,000 (dependent on experience, excluding superannuation).

Applicants must have a legal right to work in Australia and hold a valid Working With Children Check.
