We're looking for an experienced accountant. You have the chance to make a key difference in the community and better someone's day

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Oversee and review bookkeeping of entities within the private investment office
  • Develop a clear understanding of the private investment office and shareholder structures, including asset ownership and distribution profiles.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of robust tax frameworks and process documentation.
  • Liaise with the ATO, auditors and other external tax advisers to provide contextual information as required.
  • Identify and oversee the implementation of tax and related process improvement recommendations.

What You'll Bring:

3-4 years' experience working in a large or medium tier-chartered firm, or similar experience in a commercial business or family office function.

Competent understanding of law and regulations that relate to large privately owned groups, including Australian Accounting Standards and tax legislation.

Qualified CA or CPA, or nearing completion.

Demonstrated problem-solving skills, the capacity to successfully deliver high quality outcomes and meet deadlines.

Proficient computer skills, particularly with MS Office and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Demonstrated ability to use initiative and maintain a high degree of confidentiality when dealing with complex matters.
