About the role

**Responsibilities**:
**Sample Weighing and Cleaning**: Gravimetric analysis of dust filters, cleaning of equipment and reloading of media
**Sample filter preparation**: Sample sorting, splitting and treatment prior to analysis
**Instrumentation**: loading of samples, scanning and data export
**Quality Control**: Follow all quality control protocols to maintain high standards.
**Safety**: Comply with laboratory safety procedures and proper PPE usage.
**Documentation**: Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
**Housekeeping**: Maintain a clean and organised workspace through regular housekeeping.
**Skills and Experiences**:
About you
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Ability to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
A proactive, 'can-do' attitude
Strong teamwork skills
A certificate IV in Lab techniques or BSc degree
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
Must be available to work the 1-9pm night shift
Physically fit, comfortable working both seated and standing
