About the role

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Casual Support Workers to join our team at Three Points Core Support & Services PTY LTD' in Townsville, QLD 4810. In this casual position, you will be providing compassionate care and support to individuals with disabilities and assistance with daily living activities. Your role will be to empower our clients and help them maintain their independence and quality of life.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Providing support with household chores, meal preparation, and other daily living activities
  • Accompanying and transporting clients to appointments, social activities, and community outings
  • Engaging clients in meaningful recreational and social activities to improve their wellbeing
  • Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records
  • Adhering to all workplace policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

What we're looking for

  • Experience in the aged care or disability support industry, or a strong desire to work in this field
  • A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A current Australian driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (desirable)
  • Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (desirable)
