ATTARDS is seeking a motivated and reliable Trade Assistant to join our growing team.

Hours:

We are looking for someone who is available to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday.

Start Time: 7:30 AM

Finish Time: 3:45 PM

Overtime is available and encouraged, providing the opportunity for additional hours and increased earnings.

About the role:

  • Assisting with measures, installations, fittings, maintenance, and repairs, both on-site and off-site at client locations.
  • Assess damage or maintenance needs and carry out high-quality repairs using the appropriate tools, materials provided.
  • Undertaking general trade duties as required.
  • Assisting in a production line while ensuring quality control is maintained.
  • Handling tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Supporting the Team with a range of tasks and projects.
  • Assisting with site setup, preparation, and clean-up.
  • Organising and packing curtains in preparation for delivery.
  • Undertaking general factory hand duties as required.
  • Supporting the team with a range of tasks and projects.

About you:

  • A can-do, determined individual with a strong willingness to learn.
  • General tool experience is preferred – including the use of angle grinders, drills, pop rivet guns, and similar equipment.
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task.
  • Committed to producing high-quality results with keen attention to detail and pride in every project.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and at heights, including on ladders or scaffolding.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional attitude are essential.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and independently.
  • Ability to manage your time effectively and work independently to complete tasks on schedule.
  • Strong safety mindset and commitment to working responsibly on-site and in the workshop.
  • Scissor lift experience is preferred but not essential.
  • HR License / Forklift licence are preferred but not essential.
