Melbourne Teaching Health Clinics (MTHC), a dynamic not-for-profit and proudly affiliated with the University of Melbourne as a wholly owned subsidiary, invites you to lead our People & Culture function and help drive our bold Strategy 2030 vision. This exciting part-time role (0.6 – 0.8 FTE) starts January 2026.

MTHC is proud to have 200+ staff comprising our workforce and delivers circa 70,000 client contacts per annum. We deliver world-class clinical training and high-quality health services across multiple disciplines including general practice, dentistry, optometry, audiology, speech pathology, and psychology, with OT and Physio due to commence in 2026. You'll be more than an HR leader — you'll be a change agent and culture builder.

Working closely with the CEO and leadership team, you will:

• Shape and deliver a progressive People & Culture strategy aligned with our vision and values.
• Champion a LEAN, innovative, and people-first culture, embedding agility and continuous improvement.
• Lead workforce planning, talent development, and leadership growth to build capability for the future.
• Partner with our university collaborators to strengthen the pipeline of skilled students and graduates.
• Inspire and empower our teams to achieve excellence in both care and learning.
