Job DescriptionQualifications
  • Advanced knowledge Safegas, citect/SCADA.
  • Working knowledge of underground coal mining operations
  • Previous experience in a Underground Coal Mine Control Room Operators role
  • Gas chromatograph competency
  • Advanced level of computer literacy, particularly with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the initiative to follow up on results to ensure accuracy and timeliness of work
  • Proven ability to effectively work within a team environment
  • You will also hold expert knowledge of emergency response and first aid equipment with a strong commitment to health and safety standards
  • Advanced/Senior First Aid Certificate - preferred
  • Experience with Weather Guard, lightning tracker software, Minedash desired but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills are required
