We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Technicians and/or Field Operators to join Powertech on Oil and Gas Project.

Position Overview:

  • Role: Production Technicians and/or Field Operators
  • Roster: 2 weeks on | 2 weeks off
  • Hours: 12 hours per day
  • Duration: 6+ months
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Point of hire: Perth, WA
  • Super paid on all hours worked & great $$$ rates paid

Scope of Work:

  • Demonstrated offshore or onshore hydrocarbon process plant operational skills and experience required to safely work on a remote, hydrocarbon processing facility while working on a FIFO roster.
  • Experience with high pressure equipment, separators, compressors, stabilisers, MEG regeneration and high-pressure pumps.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of the production team, collaborating with maintenance and technical personnel to safely meet production and maintenance plan commitments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within small to medium sized multi-disciplinary commissioning and startup teams to safely meet project team commitments.
  • An understanding of Safety Case or Major Hazard Facility regulatory environments, including barriers and safeguards to Major Incident Events, Safety Critical Elements and Performance Standards.
  • Proven experience with Permit to Work systems including unit and area work authorization, gas testing, equipment isolation and preparation including lock out / tag out, draining, flushing, and purging operations.
  • Proven experience with the use of work instructions, start up and operations procedures including review, validation, and execution.
  • Ability to work on and around live equipment with the required appropriate training including Mercury and BTEX testing and precautions, flange management etc.
  • Excellent Analytical, Diagnostic and communication skills.
  • Competent using Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel.

  • Certificate III/ IV in Process/Production
  • Relevant trade or engineering qualification
  • Working Safely at Heights (RIIWHS204D) competency
  • Gas Test Atmospheres (MSMWHS217) competency
  • Enter Confined Space (RIIWHS202D) competency
  • Provide first aid (HLTAID003)
  • Light vehicle driver training
  • Construction white card
