Join our Incorporated Legal Practice to manage high-volume motor litigation matters and contribute to strategic legal advice. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to maximise recovery opportunities and deliver commercial outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Provide litigation services and legal advice that protect the Group's interests and align with risk appetite
  • Manage a portfolio of litigated motor claims, driving resolution through negotiation, mediation and court appearances
  • Partner with Recoveries & Settlements, Shannons and National Litigation teams to deliver strategic legal solutions
  • Attend informal settlement conferences and mediations, ensuring commercial outcomes
  • Support team members and contribute to a high-performing, collaborative legal team
  • Identify opportunities to reduce external legal spend and improve operational efficiency

What You'll Bring

  • Admission as a Solicitor or Barrister in any Australian Court, with a current Practising Certificate
  • Tertiary qualifications in Law (mandatory)
  • Experience in litigation, ideally within insurance or financial services
  • Ability to simplify complex legal concepts for diverse audiences
  • High ethical standards and integrity in all working relationships
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, both written and verbal
