The Role

ABC News is looking for an experienced Executive Producer to lead its flagship Sunday political analysis program, Insiders.

The Job

  • Lead the team that produces the agenda-setting Insiders program.
  • Drive innovation across broadcast and digital platforms.
  • Maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee budgets, logistics, and compliance.
  • Foster an ambitious, inclusive, and collaborative team culture

Position Description: EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

About You

If you are an experienced, talented and creative content maker looking to take the next step in your career and to take over leadership of one of the ABC's most important programs, then we would love to hear from you.

You'll have: 

  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Strong editorial leadership and multi-platform production skills.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and writing ability
  • Experience leading teams to produce innovative, high-impact journalism.
  • Deep knowledge of politics and major policy issues.
  • Proven stakeholder relationship management.
  • Wide network of contacts in politics.
  • Passion for diverse Australian storytelling.
