  • Monday to Friday roster

As a Coates Trades Assistant (Internally known as Equipment Maintenance Controllers) at Fyshwick branch, you will be responsible for:

  • Cleaning and inspection tasks of equipment including some minor repairs and adjustments and the use of test instruments.
  • Supporting role to the workshop mechanics/electricians to enable them to focus on equipment repairs and more complex tasks.
  • Check and control equipment (inbound and outbound) as it comes in and out of the yard inclusive of the spotting function.
  • Assist in keeping workshop, yard and service area clean, tidy and safe.

What you'll bring to the role

This role is perfect if you are mechanically minded and enjoy fixing equipment:

  • Current driver's license is essential (forklift high risk license will be highly regarded)
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills, time management and organisational skills
  • Be physically fit and knowledgeable about safety standards
  • Mechanical equipment knowledge is desirable
  • Familiarisation with Take 5's and JSEA's
