The Venue

We are Meccanico Espresso + Wine, Wagga Wagga.

We offer sophisticated casual dining with a European influence, 7 days per week for breakfast and lunch. Dinner service on Friday and Saturday nights.

The position

We're looking for cooks and chefs to join our team.

Key responsibilities

  • Being able to produce the highest quality of food at all times
  • A hands-on approach work ethic, eye for detail and a can-do attitude
  • Be able to multitask with an ability to manage competing demands and work well under pressure - time management is essential
  • Competency in managing and running a smooth and organised service
  • Compliance with the Food Act and Food Safety Standards
  • Maintain an effective communication channel between yourself and the front of house team
  • Be honest and reliable with a positive and enthusiastic approach to service excellence
  • Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
