Location: Lakemba, NSW

Salary: Negotiable on experience

We are seeking an experienced Supermarket Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Lakemba store and handle produce market buying for both the Lakemba and Yagoona stores.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supermarket management, produce buying, and supplier negotiations, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

•       Conduct produce market buying for both Lakemba and Yagoona stores (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays)

•       Oversee and manage the Lakemba supermarket

•       Negotiate with suppliers to ensure best pricing and quality

•       Maintain high operational and merchandising standards

•       Lead, motivate, and develop store staff

Schedule:

• days per week

•       Market days: 4:30 AM – 1:30 PM

•       Non-market days: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM

About You:

•       Proven experience in supermarket or fresh produce management

•       Strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills

•       Reliable, hands-on, and organised

•       Ability to work early hours and manage multiple priorities
