About the role

We are seeking an experienced Installer/All-rounder to join the team at Shade Engineering, a leading provider of high-quality Shade Structures based in South Guildford. As an Installer, you will play a crucial role in delivering our products and services to our valued commercial and residential customers. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Efficiently install a variety of shade products from 10m2 to 1,000m2 including car park shades, large umbrellas and shade sails and structures
  • Carefully measure and prepare work areas to ensure a professional and seamless installation
  • Maintain a high level of workmanship and attention to detail to meet our company's high quality standards
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any queries or concerns during the installation process
  • Work collaboratively with the sales and project management teams to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment throughout the installation process

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Installer/All-rounder or in a similar role within the building trades industry
  • Strong practical skills and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • A team-oriented attitude and the willingness to collaborate with colleagues
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to get to our South Guildford workshop
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • High levels of self-motivation
