About the program

Our Career Transition Program is a paid program for professionals who are looking to shift gears and experience a rewarding career in Institutional Banking & Markets. The program is open to individuals with 2-6 years' experience practicing Law, Finance, Accounting, Consulting, Engineering or Mathematics.

Run over 12 months, candidates will enter at the Senior Associate level and join us for 2 x 6 month rotations in a business area aligned to your interests. Potential business areas could include Client Coverage, Capital Structuring, Global Markets, Commodities, Trade & Carbon, Non-Financial Risk & Conduct or Quants, Data, Analytics & Technology.

You'll be supported on the program with a structured 3-week induction, a dedicated mentor, buddy and program manager, monthly learning sessions and fantastic networking opportunities.

Successful candidates will commence in February 2026. At the conclusion of the 12-month program, candidates will roll off into an ongoing Senior Associate role.

We're interested in hearing from people who

• Have 2-6 years of relevant professional experience practicing law, finance, accounting, consulting, engineering or mathematics
• Have a relevant university degree
• Are commercially astute and possess a strong interest in, and knowledge of, current market insights
• Have a positive attitude coupled with a strong work ethic, adaptability to change, curiosity to learn and eagerness to pursue personal development
• Possess a risk mindset
• Are Sydney or Melbourne based, (or willing to relocate), and have permanent Australian working rights
