QLD Warehouse Manager

We are seeking an organised, process driven, motivated, and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead the warehousing function at our QLD Branch.  Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth, timely, and accurate operations, maintaining high-quality standards, and exceeding safety regulations.

The successful candidate will be hands on, committed and demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, planning skills and strong customer service skills to ensure our products are picked and packed with ultimate accuracy and delivered on time.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for running the warehouse on a daily basis.  Your tasks will include:

  • Providing leadership and direction to the Warehouse team (team of 5 currently)
  • Leading by example
  • Picking, packing, and consigning of orders
  • Stock movements and replenishments
  • Loading and unloading of trucks
  • Unloading of containers
  • Freight negotiation
  • Stocktakes
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workplace
  • Prioritisation of tasks that need to be completed
  • People management

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience in warehousing management
  • Proven experience in people management
  • Decision making, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Physically fit and able to move stock
  • Have a valid forklift license
  • Have a valid drivers license
  • Self-motivated
  • Reliable and committed
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Forward thinking
  • High level of attention to detail

  • Intermediate computer skills
