The Company

Hutchison Quarries is now proudly part of the Colas Group, a global materials company with 479 quarries worldwide. We are a large-scale regional quarry servicing the Southern Downs Region and surrounding areas, who have successfully supplied and delivered quality aggregate products to major companies for large scale construction projects for over 18 years.

The quarry is located just outside of the thriving regional town of Warwick in QLD, only 2 hours from Brisbane and 1 hour from Toowoomba. Famous as the Rose and Rodeo City, Warwick is a thriving regional hub with a relaxed and friendly country town vibe which offers a large variety of lifestyle choices and activities with an abundance of varying landscapes and attractions.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced HC Driver to join our team on a casual basis. This role would suit someone seeking flexible work hours, varying from a few hours per day, 1-5 days per week, depending on workload.

To be successful in this role, the applicant will:

  • Must live Local to Warwick and surrounding suburbs
  • Valid Driver license (HC/MC license highly regarded)
  • Other mobile plant experience also highly regarded
  • Enjoy working in an outdoor environment
  • Have a commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Be self-motivated and possess a strong work ethic

Due to the physical nature of these roles, applicants must be willing to undergo a mandatory pre-employment medical.
