The Role 

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join our clients' Sydney Disputes & Insolvency team. You will work closely with an experienced senior practitioner who is highly regarded in the market for their expertise in insolvency, restructuring, and litigation, and who is committed to mentoring and supporting their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run a range of disputes and insolvency matters across various industries
  • Take on significant advocacy work
  • Assist in the development of strategies to achieve commercial outcomes for clients.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Support junior team members and contribute to the growth of the practice.

About you

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A minimum of 4 years post-admission experience.
  • Prior involvement in disputes and insolvency litigation is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to technical excellence.
  • Advanced problem-solving capabilities and the capacity to quickly grasp new tasks.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and conflicting priorities.
  • Willingness and capability to develop personal networks and actively engage in marketing and business development activities
