About the role

Moombaki Early Learning is seeking a experienced and passionate Room Leaders and an educator to join our vibrant and growing team in Maddington WA.

As our Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading and guiding a team of educators in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to our children. This is a full-time role, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the daily operations of your allocated room, ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for all children
  • Plan, implement and evaluate a diverse range of developmentally appropriate learning experiences and activities
  • Provide guidance, support and mentorship to your team of educators, fostering their professional growth and development
  • Maintain strong relationships with families, communicating regularly and collaboratively to support each child's individual needs
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the overall continuous improvement and strategic direction of the childcare centre

What we're looking for

  • Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Room Leader or in a similar supervisory role within the childcare sector
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with children with behaviors issues
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement engaging, play-based learning programs
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of care and education
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certifications
  • Valid Working with Children Check
