A leading organisation in the
health sector
is seeking a
Data Architect
to provide hands-on expertise for a critical program currently underway. This role offers the chance to shape data architecture that underpins improved health outcomes and system interoperability across multiple platforms.

The Opportunity

You'll play a pivotal role in defining and designing the program's data architecture, ensuring that information flows seamlessly across internal and external systems. With your expertise in health data standards, you'll help create a robust foundation that supports both immediate program needs and long-term sector-wide benefits.

Key Deliverables

  • Develop a high-level data model ("Data Model on a Page") to support the program
  • Define and document data flows across internal and external platforms
  • Identify and verify systems of record for each major data entity
  • Provide direction on incorporating HL7, FHIR, and SNOMED standards into the solution design
  • Advise stakeholders on best practices for interoperability and data governance

About You

  • Proven experience as a Data Architect, ideally within the health sector
  • Strong understanding of interoperability frameworks and data modelling techniques
  • Hands-on experience with HL7, FHIR, and SNOMED standards
  • Ability to deliver high-quality outputs under tight timeframes
  • Strong communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Engagement Details

  • Full-time, 5 days per week
  • Approx. 8 weeks
    (commencing ASAP, completing prior to Christmas)
  • Melbourne-based preferred
