Disability Support Worker – All-Rounder
Casual / Part-Time / Full-Time Opportunities
Are you passionate about making a real difference in people's lives? We are looking for compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team in an all-rounder role.
This position offers a diverse mix of work across:
- SIL Homes – supporting participants with daily living and personal care.
- Community Access – encouraging independence and social participation.
- Day Program – assisting with activities, skill development, and group engagement.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing person-centred support to people living with disability.
- Supporting participants to achieve their goals and increase independence.
- Assisting with personal care, household tasks, and medication (where required).
- Facilitating community participation, social inclusion, and recreational activities.
- Promoting positive behaviours and engaging participants in meaningful activities.
About You:
- Previous experience in disability support, community services, or a related role (preferred but not essential).
- Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy.
- Ability to adapt to different environments and participant needs.
- A team player who is also confident working independently.
Requirements:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Working With Children Check.
- Current Police Check.
- First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Valid Driver's Licence (with reliable vehicle).
