Disability Support Worker – All-Rounder

Casual / Part-Time / Full-Time Opportunities

Are you passionate about making a real difference in people's lives? We are looking for compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team in an all-rounder role.

This position offers a diverse mix of work across:

  • SIL Homes – supporting participants with daily living and personal care.
  • Community Access – encouraging independence and social participation.
  • Day Program – assisting with activities, skill development, and group engagement.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing person-centred support to people living with disability.
  • Supporting participants to achieve their goals and increase independence.
  • Assisting with personal care, household tasks, and medication (where required).
  • Facilitating community participation, social inclusion, and recreational activities.
  • Promoting positive behaviours and engaging participants in meaningful activities.

About You:

  • Previous experience in disability support, community services, or a related role (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy.
  • Ability to adapt to different environments and participant needs.
  • A team player who is also confident working independently.

Requirements:

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Working With Children Check.
  • Current Police Check.
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Valid Driver's Licence (with reliable vehicle).
