Job Description
Obzervr Trading Pty Ltd requires a Power BI Analytics Data Developer for immediate start.
The Power BI Analytics Data Developer is responsible for the technical aspects of BI platform implementation including data preparation, data modelling, generation of reports, integration of BI reports, development of custom visuals and management of Power BI environments. The ideal candidate should be proficient in various programming languages and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities, tasks and duties
As a Power BI Analytics Data Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Data modelling and integration;
- Data extraction and preparation;
- Preparing appropriate visualisations for data presentations;
- Report and dashboard development;
- Performing complex data analysis tasks;
- Optimising reports and dashboard performance;
- Ensuring data consistency, quality and accuracy;
- Implementing data governance and security;
- Ensuring software applications meet specifications and quality standards;
- Keeping abreast with new technologies and programming languages to enhance skills.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree with a major in Information and Communication Technology (or overseas equivalent) or higher;
- Minimum 2 years' experience as Power BI Analytics Data Developer;
- Proficient in using Microsoft Power BI platform;
- Solid understanding of data modelling principles and building efficient date models;
- Communication skills incl. interacting with clients, team members, supervisors;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
