About the role:

Service Desk Technician

Brisbane| Full-time

We are currently seeking a Service Desk Technician to join our team, supporting our national business operations from our Brisbane office.

About the Opportunity:

In this dynamic role, you will provide hands-on IT support ensuring our people have access to high-quality technical assistance and hardware solutions. You will work closely with our national IT team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative environment while supporting a professional services business that truly values its people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to incoming IT requests, providing first-level support and escalating where necessary

  • Resolve support incidents via the ServiceNow system, including logging and managing walk-up, phone, and email requests

  • Provide face-to-face and remote support using tools like TeamViewer and Remote Desktop

  • Configure and install PCs, mobile devices, software, and peripherals

  • Ensure IT security compliance in line with national procedures and policies

  • Meet established SLAs for resolution times

  • Actively contribute to team meetings and discussions on IT challenges and improvements

  • Liaise with software and hardware vendors for product servicing

  • Support project delivery and complete delegated tasks efficiently

  • Occasionally work outside normal hours to maintain critical IT services

About you:

  • 12+ months of experience in a similar IT support role

  • Experience in a financial services environment (highly regarded)

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft desktop environments and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Exposure to Active Directory and IT ticketing systems

  • Excellent troubleshooting, organisational, and time management skills

  • Practical, fast learner who embraces new challenges

  • Able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team

  • Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn

  • Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Strong customer service skills, especially in face-to-face environments

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
