We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary leader to join Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) as our
Director, Health Intelligence
. Reporting to the District Director of Quality, Strategy & Innovation, this pivotal role will drive the delivery of health information systems, services, clinical costing, and data and analytics solutions that truly make a difference.

About The Role
As Director, you will be the key link between the Ministry of Health and CCLHD services, ensuring that reliable, timely, and user-friendly information empowers stakeholders to make informed decisions. Your leadership will guide strategic planning, service agreements, and funding negotiations, while also embedding data-driven insights to improve quality, safety, and efficiency across the district.

In This Role, You Will

  • Oversee performance, reporting, and benchmarking to inform strategic service planning and delivery.
  • Provide expert advice to the Chief Executive and Executive Leadership Team on complex analytics, health informatics, and funding models.
  • Represent CCLHD at state forums and committees, influencing health intelligence initiatives at a broader level.
  • Drive the activity-based funding function, improving data quality, capture, and coding literacy.
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration in the use of data to support clinical care and organisational outcomes.
  • Lead and innovate health information systems, health information services, and analytics solutions across the LHD.
  • Lead and develop a talented team, fostering capability and driving excellence in health information and business intelligence.

About You

  • Degree qualifications in health, business, statistics, health information management, or equivalent extensive experience.
  • Proven experience managing performance analysis and reporting services in a large organisation.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and governance skills.
  • A valid NSW Driver's Licence and ability to travel across sites.
  • A commitment to innovation, collaboration, and evidence-based decision-making.
