Key Responsibilities

We require a suitably Qualified Fire Sprinkler Fitter tradesperson with a strong service focus to install and service wet fire protection systems to retail, residential, industrial and commercial clients. You will interact professionally with clients, colleagues and will represent the company with integrity

In accordance with Australian standards and within the scope of your licences your key responsibilities may include but are not limited to: –

  • Monthly, 6 monthly, annual and 5 yearly of fire sprinkler systems, hydrant systems, pump sets and combined systems
  • Installation of wet, dry, deluge and gaseous sprinkler systems and associated equipment
  • Ability to perform annual services of diesel fire pump engines (preferable but not required)
  • Interpretation of construction drawings
  • Professional client interaction and liaison with site personnel
  • Reporting on your activities, compliance issues and health & safety matters

The ideal candidate must have:


• A valid Open Driver's Licence


• A current QBCC Licence (Must have or Can Obtain)


• Knowledge of Australian standards and codes relevant to the fire industry


• Ability to manage a team and supervise apprentices


• Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to lead and deal with a range of people


• The ability to work autonomously with a pro-active approach to managing deadlines


• Good understanding of construction industry


• The ability to read/ interpret plans


• A high degree of health and safety awareness


• A level of fitness to be able to undertake a broad range of physical tasks
