About the Role:

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety and availability of a modern fleet of heavy mining equipment, while also providing on-site support to rehabilitation, desilting and civil construction activities. This position is ideal for mechanically minded operators with field servicing experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Perform preventative and routine maintenance in accordance with RIISAM212E – Service Mine Plant and Equipment and OEM guidelines.
  • Conduct inspections, fluid top-ups, filter replacements, lubrication, hose changes and basic repairs.
  • Carry out equipment cleaning, fire risk mitigation and functional tests to ensure machinery is safe for operation.
  • Provide trade assistant support to our fitters as required

What We're Looking For:

  • Current QLD Health Assessment
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Standard 11 Statement of Attainment.
  • RIISAM212 – Service Mine Plant and Equipment
  • RIIVEH307 – Operate a Heavy Rigid Vehicle (or HR Driver's Licence)
  • Mechanical aptitude with ability to assist fitters and maintenance teams
  • Demonstrated mine site experience (pass-outs or transcript history).
  • Strong commitment to safety, SHMS compliance, and environmental standards.
