What's on offer?
We are seeking an experienced and energetic Community & Stakeholder Engagement Advisor to complement our existing team and support our expanding long-term program of works in the Victorian Utilities sector. Based in Metropolitan Melbourne, you will be part of a dedicated team delivering a diverse portfolio of multidisciplined projects, including earthworks, treatment plants, large-scale pipelines, pump stations and concrete structures.

In this role you'll be responsible for:
- Engaging stakeholders, landowners, indigenous communities, local councils, state governments and any other governing bodies/authorities
- Ensuring all contractual and legislative requirements are met prior to access of land for survey and construction works
- Proactively manage key stakeholders expectations and concerns to ensure access constraints do not inhibit the survey/construction program
- Promote a Safety First culture.
How you'll connect to the role:
- Ability to develop strong relationships with community and stakeholders at all levels
- Qualifications in communications and/or stakeholder engagement combined with hands on project experience in an infrastructure construction environment
- Experience managing stakeholder expectations and balancing priorities
- Empathy, listening skills and the ability to make sound and balanced judgments
- A good understanding of the project life cycle of major infrastructure/construction projects
