**Position Summary**
As a Care Advisor at Care I Gain, you will play a vital role in supporting older Australians to navigate their care options and maximise the value of their Home Care Packages. You will be the main point of contact for clients and families, ensuring services are delivered with compassion, professionalism, and efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide tailored advice on Home Care Packages and other government-funded care services.
- Educate clients on how to optimise their package funds and manage their budgets.
- Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure their rights, dignity, and independence are upheld.
- Support the onboarding of new clients and transition from other providers if needed
**Key Skills & Attributes**
- Strong understanding of the Home Care Package system
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Empathy, patience, and a client-centered approach
- Organised with good time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Attention to detail and strong administrative skills
**Qualifications & Experience**
- Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Community Services, or related field (minimum)
- Previous experience in a similar care coordination or advisory role
- Knowledge of My Aged Care portal and HCP funding preferred
- Current Police Check and Working With Children Check
- Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
