Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the nursing team, ensuring open communication and a collaborative culture
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, resource allocation, and patient care standards
  • Ensure adherence to best practice oncology guidelines and evidence-based nursing
  • Manage team performance, including reviews and professional development initiatives
  • Work closely with doctors, radiation therapists, and allied health staff to deliver outstanding patient care
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies to support excellence and innovation

Ideal Candidate:

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 3 years' clinical experience in medical oncology nursing
  • Previous leadership and management experience (oncology highly regarded)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
  • Ability to manage resources effectively and apply relevant healthcare legislation
