Turn the heat up in your career in a Mechanical Plumbing Apprenticeship and grown with Victoria's leading supplier and installer of heating and cooling.

About the role

Based in Dandenong, this role will see the successful apprentice completing a Certificate III in Plumbing whilst working a fulltime, Monday to Friday roster under the supervision of a subcontractor for a leading supplier of heating and cooling.

As a 2nd year apprentice, you will be provided one on one mentorship and guidance and an abundance of opportunities to grow your skills and knowledge.

Partnering with residential builders across Victoria, you will assist in the supply and installation of high-quality heating and cooling systems, you will be involved in the consultation process and design and assist with rough-in, fit-off, and final commissioning.

With a comprehensive range of heating and cooling systems, you will gain hands on experience with ducted refrigerated air conditioning, add-on air conditioning, split/multi split system air conditioning, evaporative cooling, ducted heating and panel heaters.

What you will be doing

  • Gain practical experience in the safe use of power tools and hand tools
  • Participate in regular training and development to enhance your carpentry knowledge and skills
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Complete other tasks as directed

What we are looking for

  • Current Manual driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • White Card
  • Someone that is reliable, confident, productive, proactive and eager to learn
  • Industry Experience (desirable)
  • Ability to work a Monday to Friday roster
  • Mature minded, adaptable and ready to learn
