We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Assistant Manager with a strong passion for customer service to join our Front Office team. We are looking for an individual who possesses time management and responsibility to be able to lead a team.  Our ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day to day operations within the Front Office department, completing night audit on occasion and overall ensuring a high level of customer service is provided at all times.

The Mercure Kakadu Crocodile Hotel is located in the flagship town of Jabiru, approximately 2.5 hours from Darwin. Jabiru is in an exciting period as its transition from an ex-mining town to a Hospitality hub, in line with the Traditional Owners request.

Kakadu itself is enigmatic. Spread across almost 20.000km2, it offers a diverse and enchanting variety of landscapes. Home to two UNESCO World Heritage Listings, Kakadu is famous for its deep connection to culture, proudly celebrating being the home to the oldest known culture in the world. And when you're not at work? You have natures greatest playground at your doorstep.

Key Attributes:

  • Possess strong leadership skills and great communication skills
  • Ensure efficient, friendly and professional service is provided to all guests
  • Assist and oversee the day to day operations of the Front Office team
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Hotels operations in the absence of the General Manager/Senior Manager
  • Actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by guests
  • Process and assist with check-in and check-out of guests when needed
