About the Role

We are offering a full-time position for a qualified A-Grade Electrician, with an immediate start. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and maintenance jobs in residential, commercial and government sites, including:

  • General Lighting and Power
  • CCTV Systems
  • Alarm Systems
  • Communications and Network Systems
  • Solar and Battery Systems

The ideal candidate will have a 2 years solar and battery installation experience or relevant accreditations, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Private Security installation is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Essential

  • A-Grade Electrical Licence
  • OH&S Construction Induction (White Card)
  • Victorian Driver's Licence (manual preferred)
  • SAA Accreditation (GCPV Design & Install, GCBS Design & Install)

Desirable

  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Licence - BL, SL, VL
  • Valid First Aid Certificate
  • Registered Cablers Australia Licence
  • Refrigerant Handling Licence
  • Private Security Individual Licence
  • High Risk Work Licence: Boom-type elevating work platform operation licence over 11 m
  • Working with Children Check - Employee Type

Experience, Abilities / Aptitude / Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a qualified A-Grade Electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial services
  • Experience in maintenance, fault finding, and testing
  • 2 years of experience in Solar PV installations; experience with battery systems is desirable
  • Ability to understand and interpret electrical and solar system drawings
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Professional approach to all aspects of work
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes and maintaining safe work practices
