Our flagship operation is the Koolan Island mine, in the Buccaneer Archipelago in the Kimberley. The mine is Australia's highest-grade producer of direct-shipping grade hematite, with an average Ore Reserve grade of 65.5% Fe.

Are you a hands-on leader with an in-depth working knowledge of mine site dewatering, ground support and heavy equipment?

If you enjoy mentoring, coordinating and have a keen eye for safety and quality, this is your chance to play a key role in continuing efficient mining operations and critical site services.

You'll be supported by two Superintendents who also have a hands-on approach and are more than willing to impart their knowledge.

About the Role

Our high performing crew and operations still need strong leadership to ensure we remain working collaboratively and resolve challenges as they arise.

  • Lead and mentor a multi-skilled mine services crew
  • Coordinate daily operations including dewatering, ground support batch plant operations and maintenance
  • Support ground support installation and quality assurance
  • Drive continuous improvement and safety performance.

About You

  • Proven supervisory experience in mining or civil operations
  • In depth knowledge of dewatering, ground support, and heavy equipment
  • A proactive mindset, adaptability and ability to pause rather than make knee-jerk decisions
  • A safety-focused approach to everything you do
  • A genuine interest in mentoring, upskilling and supervising
  • Section 26 Leader status
  • Willingness to work night shifts.
