ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the QLD State Manager, we are seeking a Business Development Executive, Commercial to support the growth of our commercial client base across Queensland.

This role is responsible for account management of commercial clients, field research and analysis of new and existing business opportunities, and ensuring that business development initiatives strengthen ActronAir's reputation and customer relationships. Working closely with the State Manager, you'll play a key role in increasing sales of commercial units and building trusted relationships with consultants, contractors, and specifiers.

WHAT'S INVOLVED:

  • Undertake market research, competitor analysis, and provide insights to guide sales and product strategies
  • Manage and grow relationships with commercial clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to support long-term commercial growth
  • Assist in positioning ActronAir products in the marketplace and participate in trade shows and industry events
  • Provide project management support to ensure commercial projects are delivered on time and aligned with ActronAir standards
  • Prepare reports, call plans, and forecasts to support state and national sales objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to training, development, and continuous improvement initiatives

YOU WILL NEED:

There are a few essential tools you will need under your belt to be successful in this role:

  • Technical knowledge and understanding of HVAC equipment (highly desirable)
  • Proven sales background in commercial applications, with strong business development skills
  • Experience in project management, including coordinating resources and delivering client outcomes
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyse market trends and think innovatively to identify opportunities
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and project management tools
